I didn't seem to take a picture of the finished result but oh man, they were good!
Then Thursday morning, after sleeping in a little bit, I went for a walk with my Mom while Chuck went off to play football with some of the guys from church. He had such a good time...and no one got hurt. Just a few scratches here and there.
They played with a real football, I just made Chuck pose with our nerf one.
We then went with my parents and Nanny (my Grandma) to see "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." We LOVED it. I can't wait until the second half comes out...
Then it was dinner time!
We didn't do much the rest of the weekend...which was nice. But I did drag Chuck out on Black Friday. His birthday was the following week, and I knew it would be one of the only times I could get out there to do some shopping. I also figured I'd get everyone else their gifts. So up we rose at 6:15 a.m. and we were out to the mall by 7 a.m. We lucked out, as we were pulling in a car was pulling out. BINGO! In and out with some GREAT deals, and off to Target next. Again, as we pulled in, someone was pulling out...DOUBLE BINGO! In and out and a few good deals, and we were home by 9:30 a.m. Chuck went back to bed, I went grocery shopping and snuck in a nap later that afternoon. We said we'd go out on Black Friday agian next year...not only to do Christmas shopping, but maybe a little shopping for ourselves!
Next up...CHRISTMAS!

You made me want cinnamon rolls. I've never made them but I know Ben would love me too since that was a Christmas Eve tradition in his family. And I'm impressed you braved the mall on Black Friday! I hate shopping so I'm not willing to give up my sleep. Glad you had a good Thanksgiving and hope you have an even better Christmas.
Looks like a fabulous time! Wish we could have been there!
